Be Aware! Assess Paid Survey Sites and Other Online Jobs

It is a fact that the web is an open space for everyone. It is the most convenient means of having a business and reaching people all over the world. One of the well-known online jobs is through paid survey sites. Since we do not have a personal contact with persons or company we are associating with, we can not help but be extra careful. But what precautionary measures should we take? All offers on online paid surveys are quite attractive, but few are real and authentic. We want to be keen on this issue but we should know where how to evaluate it and the points we have to consider.

CHECK THE SPELLING AND GRAMMAR

Errors in spelling and grammar are the most common thing committed by scammers. It is a sign of being shallow on the part of the recruiter -- he did not put much effort on that site.

LOOK AT THE PRESENTATION OF THE WEBSITE

Using the free web hosting or email services by the site appears to be a sign of inability of the creator/author to invest in the site -- and maybe a sign of inability to pay survey-takers.

LOOK AT THE PROFILE OF THE SITE

We should verify if the address/location given is a residence, building, company office, or nonexistent. The contact numbers given must be checked if it is real or not.

INQUIRE ON ONLINE ANTI-SCAM ORGANIZATIONS

These anti-scam organizations can help you in gathering information about a particular site, especially paid survey sites. Read blogs that contain comments on a certain site -- see if it contains positive comments. Negative feedbacks means we should extra careful in investing in the sites being talked about.

CHECK THE PAYMENT METHOD

See if the claims by the providers are being met by the buyer. Moreover, we should know the mode payment is -- say, through PayPal.

Some paid survey sites are not free, so we must know the money-back procedures of the site.

READ THE FINE PRINTS CAREFULLY

Those words in smaller fonts must be read and fully understand by the survey-takers because more often than not, the glitch of the project is written there.
