Warning About Some Online Surveys

The dream of working from home has become a nightmare for some. The downside of opportunity is the scam, so no surprise to see both online opportunities and scams running parallel upward curves on line graphs. Many of us secretly crave the kind of lifestyle which allows and enables us to enjoy freedom, security, to work from home and to be close to loved ones, and the internet has been the great facilitator.

People do all kinds of work from home jobs and one of the most popular is completing online surveys. Before registering with an online survey company there are certain things you can check to reduce the likelihood of them being a scam survey company:

Ensure they have been online for at least a couple of years
They have a means of online support, such as a ticket or other contact system
They have a secure online database and adequate protection of personal details
Have they got customer testimonials (online survey workers)

Of course, the above is in no way foolproof, but what actually is? Another point to consider when you are working in the online surveys sector is to never give your personal details when completing surveys, and if you are able to, stick with the big companies when completing them.

However, don't worry too much about the minority of dodgy operators as long as you take the usual precautions, remain sensible and take no notice of silly headlines such as: "Become rich completing online surveys". Although it can be very lucrative, you will hardly become rich doing it - but it will help to pay the bills and put some food on the table.
